Portfolio types

There are three levels of membership on perthmodel.com. These are designed so that we can preserve a high standard on the site, and also to offer additional features to models who contribute to the running of the site.

Basic portfolio

This is the free portfolio status that you get automatically when you join. It allows you ten images, and small thumbnail image display in the model galleries. You are not featured on the front page.

Elevated portfolio

This status is granted free of charge to any models whose portfolio meets certain standards:

• Professional-standard images, not just snapshots. Good photography, makeup and styling are all contributing factors.
• Adequate information provided, including measurements and contact information.

Benefits include:

• Large thumbnails in the model galleries
• Listing before Basic portfolios in the model galleries
• Up to 20 images in your portfolio

Only elevated status models are eligible to upgrade to Premium status.

Premium status

This is the highest level, requiring a subscription fee of $29.95/six months, or $49.95/year.

Benefits include:

• Simple web address, in the form www.perthmodel.com/yourname
• Permanent front-page exposure.
• First listing in the model galleries
• Large thumbnails in the model galleries
• Up to 50 images in your portfolio
• more advantages to come as the site develops

Tips for escaping Basic status:

• Ensure your information is adequate.
• Keep improving your photos - do some time-for-prints photoshoots with better photographers, and always use a professional makeup artist.
• Get other people's honest input on which photos are your strongest ones.
